Product details

Replace or add a suitable HO coupler pocket with Kadee 232 insulated plastic gearboxes and lids. This No. 5-style box is useful when fitting compatible couplers to models that need a separate mounting pocket.

Features and package contents

  • Ten pairs of black plastic gearboxes with lids.
  • Each box measures 29/64 inch long, 19/64 inch wide and 7/64 inch high.
  • For No. 5, No. 58 and compatible medium- or long-shank 20-Series and Whisker couplers.

Compatibility and installation

Assembly and mounting are required. Check coupler clearance and height on your specific model. The center hole accepts suitable 2-56 insulated screws; side holes accommodate 0-48 self-tapping or 0-80 machine screws. Select fastener length for the installation. Couplers and mounting screws are not included.
