Product details

Kadee 51 provides the short option in the HO NEM 363 European-style coupler range. Its sliding dovetail shank permits height adjustment, with adapters supplied for suitable NEM 362 pockets or flat-underbody mounting.

Features and package contents

  • Two pairs: four assembled standard-head couplers with plastic underset shanks and metal knuckles.
  • Length 7.11 mm, measured from the knuckle pulling face to the dovetail shoulder.
  • Includes two pairs of NEM 363-to-362 adapters, two pairs of bolt-on NEM 363 adapters and two spare No. 622 knuckle springs.

Compatibility and installation

Check pocket style and the clearance needed on your exact model. Slide the dovetail into the matching receiver and adjust height using a suitable HO coupler gauge. Test free movement and coupling through curves before use. Bolt-on installation requires suitable 0-48 or M1.4 screws of the correct length, not included; some fitting or trimming may be necessary. Cars, track and height gauge are not included.
