Restore the centering action of compatible split-shank couplers with Kadee 636 coil springs. This pack supplies a dozen small replacement springs for the specified HO and HOn3 coupler families.

Features and package contents

  • Twelve phosphor-bronze coil centering springs.
  • For No. 711 and 712 three-quarter-size HO couplers and No. 714 and 715 HOn3 split-shank couplers.
  • Outside diameter 0.052 inch; inside diameter 0.046 inch.
  • Wire diameter 0.003 inch; free length 0.128 inch.

Compatibility and installation

Confirm the coupler number before fitting: these are centering springs, not general knuckle springs. Install carefully according to the coupler instructions and verify free return movement afterward. A suitable spring-handling tool helps retain the tiny parts; couplers and tools are not included.
