Märklin 8589 is a 55 mm straight Z scale track section with a direction-dependent circuit contact for compatible turnout or relay controls.

  • Scale: Z (1:220)
  • Length: 55 mm (approximately 2-3/16 in.)
  • A passing locomotive momentarily closes the contact
  • Direction-dependent activation
  • Terminal clips included

It can be combined with a 55 mm Märklin 8503 section to equal a standard 110 mm straight. Other track and electrical equipment are separate.
