The set consists of two 90 mm contact-track sections.
Märklin 2295 belongs to the HO K-Track system and is designed to create contact sections for detection and control. It is not an ordinary two-rail flex-track section and should be chosen only for compatible K-Track wiring plans.
The package comprises two 90 mm sections. Review the Märklin K-Track contact-track wiring requirements before installation, especially if the layout uses automatic train detection or feedback modules.
Märklin 2295 is selected when a layout needs a contact/detection section in its K-Track wiring plan. A conventional straight section is suitable for extending plain track but does not itself provide this specialized detection function. Make sure the wiring and control components in your planned application support the required sensing circuit.

Match the listed scale and track gauge to your layout. For locomotives, check the power system, decoder and sound details; DCC ready does not mean a decoder is installed. For rolling stock, check couplers, clearance and the manufacturer's minimum-radius requirement where provided.
