Product details

Equip four compatible locomotives with the NCE D13J-4 decoder pack, part 524-175. The smaller successor to the D13SRJ combines an NMRA nine-pin Quick Plug with an eight-inch wiring harness for each decoder.

Features and package contents

  • Four D13J motor-and-function decoders with harnesses.
  • Manufacturer rating: ¾ amp continuous motor current, 1.2 amps stall.
  • Four lighting-function outputs with a choice of 15 effects and LED support.
  • Silent Running torque-compensated motor drive and decoder programming lock.
  • Each board measures 1.03 × 0.630 × 0.185 inches.

Compatibility and installation

Check the motor current, board clearance and connector orientation before fitting. A suitable nine-pin locomotive socket allows a plug connection; other installations require wiring and soldering. Locomotives, DCC control equipment and installation supplies are not included. The photo is a close-up of one decoder; the pack supplies four.
