Product details
Build a color-coded DCC power bus with the NCE LWK50, part 524-268. This kit supplies red and black main-bus wire together with matched feeder wiring and disconnectable connection hardware for a typical 50-foot double-track mainline.
Features and package contents
- Fifty feet each of red and black 14 AWG stranded main-bus wire.
- Sixteen red and sixteen black prestripped 22 AWG feeder wires.
- Thirty-two wire taps for the 14 AWG bus.
- Thirty-two quick connectors for the 22 AWG feeders.
- Designed for DCC systems rated at five amps or less.
Compatibility and installation
Measure and route the bus to suit your layout, install the feeders and connectors, and check polarity before connecting power. Connections can be separated for troubleshooting. Track, command station, booster and installation tools are not included. This is wiring material requiring installation, not a ready-built layout or a higher-current wiring kit.
