Product details

Connect a Code 83 mainline to lighter Code 70 track with PECO SL-115 transition units. Each short section compensates for the rail-height difference in its moulded base so the running surfaces can meet at the same level.

Features and contents

  • Four transition-track units per pack.
  • Each unit is 46 mm long, approximately 1.8 inches.
  • Code 83 rail at one end and Code 70 rail at the other.
  • Rail-height compensation is built into the plastic moulding.
  • The two rail sections within each unit are through-wired for electrical continuity.

Installation

Fit each end to the corresponding rail code with suitable joiners, support the adjoining track and confirm level running surfaces before fixing. These units are conductive transitions, not insulated rail breaks. Adjoining track, additional joiners, tools and fixing materials are not included.
