Fit sound into a space-constrained model with the SoundTraxx 810155 Mini Cube 2. This compact oval speaker includes a proportioned enclosure and has a 32-ohm impedance, so its wiring requirements differ from those of a typical 8-ohm model-train speaker.

  • Rated power: 40 mW nominal; 75 mW peak.
  • Impedance: 32 ohms.
  • Includes one Mini Cube 2 speaker with enclosure.

Compatibility and installation

Check both installation space and decoder amplifier requirements before fitting. SoundTraxx specifies that use with a 1–2-watt, 8-ohm decoder amplifier requires this speaker to be wired in parallel with another 32-ohm speaker, giving a 16-ohm load. A second speaker, decoder, wiring and installation tools are not included. Electrical connection and fitting are required; this is not a plug-in replacement for every locomotive.
