The SoundTraxx 852002 MC2H104AT is a motor-and-lighting decoder for compatible HO diesel locomotives using an Atlas-style light-board layout. It replaces a suitable factory light board and provides DCC control without adding sound.

Features and specifications

  • MC2H104AT; SoundTraxx part 852002.
  • HO-scale board-replacement format; dimensions 74 × 17 × 3 mm.
  • Maximum motor stall current: 1 amp.
  • Four function outputs for lighting.
  • Hyperlight lighting effects and load-compensated motor control.
  • Supports DCC operation and configured analog DC operation.
  • Includes one decoder board; no sound system or speaker.

Compatibility and installation

Compare the board layout, mounting space and electrical connections with your exact locomotive. Suitable Atlas models and some InterMountain models use this format, but it is not a universal fit. Motor isolation, wiring and any lighting resistors must follow the decoder instructions. Use the documented analog-mode configuration for DC operation. Locomotive and installation supplies are not included.
