Product details
Blue water-based acrylic paint from the Vallejo Mecha Color range, designed for airbrushing mecha, robots and hard-surface model projects. Satin finish. Supplied in a 17 ml dropper bottle. Shake well before use; thin with compatible Vallejo Airbrush Thinner as needed.
Choose the blue finish
69.019 is Blue. It differs from the separately named Deep Blue 69.018, Electric Blue 69.020 and Metallic Blue 69.067. Compare a dry sample for the intended scheme rather than assuming every blue matches.
Can it be sprayed directly?
Vallejo allows direct application or dilution with Airbrush Thinner. Its Mecha instructions give three parts paint to one part thinner when dilution is used. Follow the bottle instructions and test your setup first.
Does it prevent rubbing at moving joints?
No coating removes a tight mechanical contact. Check clearances before painting and allow the finish to cure before reassembly. Primer, thinner, clear finish and airbrush equipment are separate supplies.
