Obsidian Black Shade is the shadow color for the Obsidian Black family in Vallejo’s True Metallic Metal system. Use 77.160 to deepen recesses and define the darker areas of a metallic miniature.
Paint details
- Water-based acrylic for miniature painting.
- Color: Obsidian Black; True Metallic Metal Shade range.
- Non-metallic shading wash with a satin finish.
- Manufacturer reference: 77.160 (77160).
- Package contains one 18 ml / 0.6 fl oz dropper bottle.
Application
Use over the corresponding Base color to create shadows and stronger definition in recesses. The satin finish helps retain the appearance of the underlying metallic layer. Shade colors can be diluted with water for softer transitions.
