Cut model railroad rail to length with the Xuron 2175B track cutter. Its Micro-Shear cutting action is designed to leave clean, square cuts in brass and nickel-silver rail used for HO, N and Z layouts.
Tool details
- Xuron model 2175B track cutter.
- For brass and nickel-silver HO, N and Z track, through Code 100.
- Semi-flush Micro-Shear bypass cutting action.
- Orange handle grips.
- Position the rail at the center of the jaws, with the blades at the top and bottom of the rail, for best results.
Contents and limits
Includes one assembled manual track cutter. No tool assembly, batteries or power supply are required. Not for nichrome or other hard wire, which can damage the cutting edges. Track, rail joiners, measuring tools and other layout materials are not included. For vertical cutting of rail already attached to roadbed, Xuron makes the separate 2175M model.
