1994 Hot Wheels Vector Avtech WX-3 Ultra Hots: #207 Guide

The 1994 Hot Wheels Vector Avtech WX-3 Ultra Hots is the lavender retail #207. Its earlier gray employee-release relative is a different identification—not a reason to describe every old Vector as an employee exclusive.

Start with the retail release
The Vector catalog records item 3050 with a lavender body, red Vector lettering, black side stripe, tan cabin and black Malaysia base. UH means Ultra Hots; it is the wheel identification used for this version.

Why a gray-looking photograph is not enough
Ask for daylight or neutral-light views before making a color-based judgment. Compare the roof with the body sides and ask whether the finish has been changed. Lighting, wear and a seller's description should not be treated as independent proof of an employee-release identity.
A car being priced on that special history should have supporting acquisition records and clear photographs of the actual specimen. A copied reference image demonstrates what another car looks like, not the history or originality of the one offered. Keep uncertainty visible in your own collection records.
Inspect Ultra Hots wheels without changing them
Request photographs of both axles from the side. Examine the wheel-face finish and ask whether any wheel or axle has been replaced. Document an older car before cleaning, polishing or modifying it. The point of collecting an original wheel variation is lost when replacement parts are quietly treated as original.
Our separate Vector five-spoke guide focuses on that later wheel configuration. Use this page for the Ultra Hots retail version rather than mixing the two specifications.
Body and package checks for a wedge-shaped supercar
Inspect the nose corners, low body edges and rear wing in close-up. Ask for an overhead photograph to reveal scratches across the roof and glazing. Check the side stripe for rubbed or retouched sections and the wing for cracks or glue. A polished appearance cannot establish that a car is untouched.
For a sealed example, inspect the blister around the nose and wing as well as the card front and back. Check for lifting, cracks or a disclosed reseal. Record packaging condition separately from the vehicle's finish; a crisp card does not make an altered car original.
Choose a collectible or a display build
Browse loose collector cars when you want to inspect actual vehicles and condition photographs. For a ready-to-display personalized car, explore finished customs. These are current shopping categories, not claims that a lavender or employee-release Vector is available.
For your own project, choose a DIY kit, read its inclusions and measure the donor before selecting wheels and tires. Compare original collectors' cars with like-for-like completed sales; do not apply an employee-release asking price to a standard retail example.
Vector Ultra Hots questions
Does UH identify an employee car?
No. It is a wheel description. The complete release and its history require separate evidence.
Is lavender just another name for the gray release?
Do not assume that. The reference records separate gray and lavender entries.
Are Ultra Hots wheels a guarantee of higher value?
No. Condition, originality and a properly matched completed-sale comparison matter; this guide gives no guaranteed premium.

Make the Hot Wheels Vector Avtech WX-3 Ultra Hots record reproducible
For this article, separate the lavender retail Vector Ultra Hots from the gray employee-related release record. Use a fixed photo order—front or package, both sides, wheels and underside—so two examples can be compared without relying on seller shorthand.
When required photos are absent, leave the exact variation unconfirmed. Record uncertainty directly rather than converting a partial match into a factory, rarity or value claim.
