ACME Sprint Cars: 1:18 vs 1:50 Size, Features and Display Choices

Choose 1:18 for a larger sprint-car display with specifically listed removable components; choose 1:50 when compact size and collecting several team schemes matter more. ACME offers some of the same driver subjects in both sizes, but the smaller model is not promised to have every operating feature of the larger one.
Compare ACME sprint-car offers

Compare the same driver before comparing prices
The 2026 Brent Marks number 19 Fenton Marks Racing car provides a direct example. The 1:18 model, A1826003, is listed at approximately 8 inches long, 4 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. The 1:50 model, A5026001, is approximately 3 by 1.5 by 1.75 inches.
That is a meaningful difference on a shelf. The larger wing needs clear space above and beside the car; the smaller version lets you display a team identity where an eight-inch model would dominate. These are approximate listing measurements, not measurements from our own handling tests.
What does the larger model add?
The linked 1:18 Brent Marks description specifies removable wings and a hood cowl, positionable wheels, rubber tires and detailed chassis, cabin and engine areas. Removing a listed component can expose more of the model for a stationary pit-style display.
The 1:50 offer specifies rubber tires, diecast construction with plastic components and team-themed reclosable clamshell packaging. Its description does not confirm removable wings, a removable cowl or steering. Buy the smaller car for its documented format rather than assuming those larger-model features carry over.

Chase Dietz offers a second like-for-like choice
The 2026 number 23 Treyco Motorsports and Mountain Ridge Metals subject is offered as A1826019 in 1:18 and A5026014 in 1:50. Their listed dimensions follow the same respective eight-inch and three-inch formats.
Choosing the same scale for Marks and Dietz creates a proportionally consistent pair. Choosing one of each scale creates a size comparison instead. Neither approach is wrong, but it should be intentional, especially when buying a gift for an existing collection.
Choose around the space and packaging you will use
For a desk centerpiece or a removable-body display, start with the 1:18 car and check the whole display envelope. For a compact driver lineup, compare the 1:50 offers and leave room for the clamshell if it will stay packaged. A model's dimensions are not the dimensions of its unopened package.
Neither scale establishes compatibility with another brand's trailer, case insert or replacement wheels. Confirm those individual fittings separately. Match the driver, season, number and item code, then check current price and availability in the Acme Models & Collectibles collection.
