Choosing the Blue Hot Wheels Viper ACR

The large Hot Wheels logo is the first thing you notice on this blue Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR. Orange and yellow graphics cross the doors and hood, orange rings pick out the black wheels, and white lower trim runs beneath the blue body. Those are the colors of one car, not a five-car assortment.
If you like a miniature that wears its Hot Wheels identity openly, this finish has plenty of appeal. The long hood and raised rear wing still give it a recognizable sports-car shape, while the decoration makes it an easy choice for a colorful display.
Look at the hood as well as the sides
The side logo fills much of each door. A black panel on the hood carries a broad orange stripe with a narrower yellow accent, so the top view is just as busy as the sides. The dark wheels and black hood areas keep the bright colors from blending into one block of blue.
White trim along the front and lower sides creates another clear line around the car. From a low side angle, you see that trim, the orange wheel rings and the logo together. From higher up, the hood graphics and the rear wing become more prominent. Pick the viewing angle you enjoy before deciding where it belongs in a crowded case.

The overhead photograph shows the hood stripes and makes the marks on the glazing easier to see.
Bright paint can distract from small marks
There are visible scratches in the photographed car’s window glazing, and the orange finish around the wheels deserves a close look. A colorful side view can make those details easy to miss. Enlarge the overhead image and compare the two sides if you are choosing a car for close-up photography or a very tidy display.
This Viper is offered loose, without original retail packaging. Loose describes how it is sold; it does not mean mint condition. The listing can cover more than one unit, so ask about the available example if a particular scratch, wheel finish or other small detail would change your decision.
The three photographs are views of the same illustrated version. They help you understand the color arrangement, but they are not photographs of three different color choices. Price and availability are shown on the product page.

The opposite side shows how the white lower trim and orange wheel rings frame the blue body.
Choose between graphics and a simpler finish
For a quieter look, compare this Viper with the orange Hot Wheels McLaren 720S. The McLaren’s smoother orange body has far less decoration, while this Viper combines a large logo, contrasting hood panels and a high rear wing. Neither look is better for every collection; the useful question is which one fits the cars you already enjoy.

Let the blue and orange do the work
A plain backdrop leaves the Viper’s colors easy to read. If it is parked next to another heavily decorated car, leave a little space between them so both designs remain visible. In a small garage scene, turning the Viper slightly toward the viewer shows the door logo without losing the shape of the hood.
Leave clearance above and behind the wing when choosing a storage compartment. Hold the body when moving it, and keep other cars from rubbing against the painted wheel faces. The garage background in the photographs is scenery, not an item included in the purchase.
