American Diorama Garages 76530 vs. 76531: Size, Contents and Car Fit

Choose American Diorama 76530 for a workshop in red and gray, or 76531 for a Gulf scene in blue and orange. Both garages have the same listed overall dimensions and accessory contents. The choice is mainly about the backdrop you want behind your cars, so changing versions will not solve a shelf that is too small.
These are 1:64 decorative garage displays. Each is listed at approximately 13 inches long, 6 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. The cars used to stage the photographs are separate, and the two angles shown in each image do not mean two garages are supplied.
76530 and 76531 compared
| Choice | 76530 Advan Garage | 76531 Garage Diorama |
|---|---|---|
| Pictured appearance | Gray walls, red trim and stairs; the staged garage carries prominent Nismo graphics. | Blue walls with orange accents and Gulf graphics. |
| Box identification | 76530; the box identifies an included Advan decal. | 76531; the box identifies an included Gulf decal. |
| Overall size | Approximately 13 × 6 × 4.5 inches | Approximately 13 × 6 × 4.5 inches |
The 76530 name and box mention Advan while its display photo also shows Nismo and other graphics. Look at the complete pictured decoration when choosing; the included sticker pack is not an itemized promise of every logo you might want.

The box and two views identify the same garage. The cars demonstrate the scene and are not included.
Red framing and Nismo decoration give the pictured workshop its character. Choose this presentation when those colors and graphics work with your planned cars.

76531 Gulf garage presentation
The Gulf marking appears on the box and workshop. The truck and car are display examples, not included vehicles.
The blue walls and orange accents create the main visual difference from 76530. The stated footprint and equipment remain the same.

What comes with each garage?
Each set lists a plastic decorative display, metal railing, metal staircase, a sticker pack, one tire rack, eight rubber tires and one metal tools bench. That gives you workshop equipment to arrange around your chosen vehicle without buying those listed pieces separately.
Start with the supplied equipment before adding more scenery. The tire rack can establish a service area, while the bench gives another part of the workshop a purpose. Keep the car's doors, wheels and identifying graphics visible instead of placing every accessory in front of them.
Plan the shelf before choosing the cars
Mark a 13-by-6-inch rectangle on paper and place it where the garage will sit. Check that the entire footprint has support, then allow extra room to lift out a car without catching a mirror or moving the scenery. A display cover must also clear the garage's listed height and anything you add above it.
Overall dimensions do not describe the usable parking area. The stairs, workbench and tire rack occupy space, and no individual bay or doorway measurements are supplied here. A long van, wide pickup or transporter needs its own clearance check even when its label says 1:64.
The intended category is small 1:64 cars, described at roughly three inches long. Position the main car first and inspect the view from shelf height. An arrangement that looks spacious from above may hide much of the car when seen from the front. Leave a clear route for placing and removing it.
Add people only where they help the scene
Figures are another separate purchase. Car Meet 5, AD-2432MJ, provides six diecast-metal figures at 1:64, each listed at approximately one inch tall. It is an option for a gathering beside the workshop, not equipment included with either garage.
Try one or two figures after placing the car and tools. Keep the staircase and the view of the vehicle clear. You can use the rest in another scene; a six-person pack does not require a six-person garage layout.
Questions before ordering
How many cars will fit?
There is no verified parking capacity for either set. Vehicle length, width and position change what fits, as does your arrangement of the equipment. Measure your chosen cars and compare them with the actual usable space; the promotional photos are examples of a layout.
Can I use the eight tires for a wheel swap?
They are supplied as workshop accessories. Their presence does not establish compatibility with a model's wheels or axles. Choose a dedicated wheel-and-tire set if your project depends on specified mounting dimensions.
Do these garages have lights or a working vehicle lift?
Neither offer promises powered lights or a working lift. Choose them for the stated structure, decoration and accessories. Follow any setup instructions supplied with your product; this comparison does not establish a tool-free or glue-free assembly method.
Choose the scene you want to build
Start with the color scheme and your available shelf space. Compare the two garages above, then browse American Diorama scenery and figures for the separate pieces your layout needs.
