GeminiJets Flagship DFW 777-300ER: 1:200 or 1:400?

Representative current product image for GeminiJets Flagship DFW 777-300ER: 1:200 or 1:400?

Choose G2AAL1508 for a larger 1:200 Flagship DFW centerpiece with a stand, or GJAAL2406 for a more compact 1:400 fleet model without an included stand. Both represent American Airlines Boeing 777-300ER N735AT in the Flagship DFW scheme.

This is a useful same-aircraft scale comparison: the airline, registration and named livery stay consistent while the display size changes.

G2AAL1508: a large 1:200 display

The Gemini200 Flagship DFW 777, G2AAL1508, is listed at approximately 14.5 inches long with a 12-inch wingspan. A display stand is included.

Choose it when the aircraft will have its own shelf or a prominent position where the named scheme is the focus. The larger scale gives the represented markings more physical area, but it also requires a substantial clear footprint.

Reserve room for the tail above the stand as well as the aircraft's length and span. The listing does not provide the complete model-on-stand height, so confirm it before selecting a closely fitted case.

GJAAL2406: a 1:400 fleet addition

The 1:400 Flagship DFW, GJAAL2406, is approximately 7.25 inches long with a 6-inch wingspan. It does not include a stand.

This is the more practical starting point for someone with an existing 1:400 airport or several aircraft sharing one shelf. It keeps the named Flagship DFW subject without changing the surrounding fleet's scale.

A six-inch wingspan is still significant beside small regional models. Leave room around the wings rather than assuming every 1:400 plane can occupy the same parking position.

Twice the linear size means more than twice the space

The quoted 1:200 dimensions are twice the 1:400 length and span. The simple rectangular planning footprint therefore grows by a factor of four: doubling both dimensions multiplies the area by four.

That calculation does not describe actual occupied aircraft area or required safety clearance. It shows why moving from 1:400 to 1:200 is a bigger shelf decision than the scale numbers initially suggest.

Make paper outlines for both footprints and place them where the model would live. Include the stand base where relevant, plus access to lift the model without contacting another aircraft.

What does not change between these offers?

Both listings specify diecast metal with plastic components, exterior detailing and no opening panels. Neither is described as an Interactive cargo model, and neither should be bought expecting opening passenger doors.

The same N735AT registration does not make the two boxes duplicates for every collector: one may want the livery at a different scale. For a gift, however, confirm the scale already collected before deciding that larger is automatically better.

Make the choice by display purpose

Select G2AAL1508 for a dedicated large display with a supplied stand. Select GJAAL2406 for a coordinated 1:400 fleet or when the smaller footprint is decisive. For separate stand options, use our GeminiJets mounting and stand guide.
