GreenLight Tokyo Torque Guide: Skyline GT-R, Civic Type R and Japanese Classics

Choose a GreenLight Tokyo Torque model by the exact vehicle generation, color and release—not just the badge on the hood. Series 10 includes a classic Skyline, two different R35 GT-R releases, a Civic Type-R, an Integra GS-R and a 370Z. They can form one Japanese-car display, but each gives you a different reason to buy.
This guide compares six separately listed Tokyo Torque Series 10 references, 235110A through 235110F, in 1:64. Their individual identities are useful even if you buy only one. The six-car offer 235110SET needs a separate contents check because its current gallery photographs disagree.
The Series 10 lineup at a glance
| Item | Vehicle | Finish or identity |
|---|---|---|
| 235110A | 2019 Nissan 370Z | Red with bronze-colored wheels |
| 235110B | 1972 Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R KPGC10 | No. 15 Kunimitsu Takahashi “50th Victory”; white with blue stripe; listed RHD |
| 235110C | 2024 Nissan GT-R R35 NISMO | Stealth Gray with carbon-style hood and top; listed RHD |
| 235110D | 2007 Nissan GT-R R35 | Pearl white with gold wheels |
| 235110E | 1994 Acura Integra GS-R | Milano Red |
| 235110F | 2018 Honda Civic Type-R FK8 | Championship White with carbon-style hood; listed RHD |
RHD means right-hand drive in the relevant product descriptions. Do not assign that specification to every car in the lineup when it is not stated. Likewise, a carbon-style finish describes the appearance represented; it does not establish that the miniature contains real carbon-fiber body panels.
For a classic racing-themed Skyline: 235110B
The 1972 Skyline 2000 GT-R KPGC10 is the white-and-blue No. 15 release identified with Kunimitsu Takahashi and the “50th Victory” designation. Those are the product’s listed identifiers; this guide does not independently reconstruct the real car’s competition history.
Choose it when the older Skyline body and racing decoration are the appeal. It gives a different visual role from the cleaner road-car finishes in the assortment. Its listed approximate length is 2.5 inches.
The lead photograph shows this white-and-blue No. 15 car beside its Series 10 card. View the 235110B Skyline photographs and current offer.
For an R35 comparison: 2007 vs. 2024 NISMO
The 2007 GT-R R35, 235110D, is listed in pearl white with gold wheels. The 2024 GT-R R35 NISMO, 235110C, uses Stealth Gray with the described hood and roof treatment.
They are not duplicate copies of the same finish. Compare the model year, NISMO designation, wheels and photographs together. A collector interested in one particular R35 appearance may prefer a single; someone building a generation-focused display may deliberately choose both.
The current descriptions of these two R35s do not state their lengths or opening features. If a case or parking space is tight, request the actual length, width and height for the chosen reference. The shared 1:64 label does not establish identical dimensions.
For Honda and Acura collectors: Civic FK8 and Integra GS-R
The 1994 Acura Integra GS-R, 235110E, offers a red 1990s subject, while the 2018 Civic Type-R FK8, 235110F, offers the listed Championship White and carbon-style hood appearance.
The Integra is identified as GS-R, not Type R. Preserve that distinction when matching a model to a real vehicle or another casting in your collection. The Civic’s FK8 code is also part of the exact subject, not interchangeable with every Civic Type R generation.
The Civic listing gives an approximate length of 2.75 inches. The current Integra description does not supply a length, so the Civic figure should not stand in for it. Confirm clearances for the particular car if the display is tight.
View the Milano Red 235110E Integra photographs and current offer, or inspect the Championship White 235110F Civic FK8 if that later body style is the one you collect.
For a clean coupe display: the red 370Z
The 2019 Nissan 370Z, 235110A, is listed in red with bronze-colored rims. Its product gallery includes side, front and rear views, allowing you to inspect the finish rather than choosing from a general assortment photograph.
The photographed package says 2019 Nissan 370Z, which is the designation used here for this offer. GreenLight’s regional catalog calls the same reference a 2009 model, so keep item 235110A and the package photograph together if the year matters to your collection.
It is a useful option when you prefer a road-car appearance over the numbered Skyline. The single listing contains one 370Z; the similar assortment prefix does not mean all six cars are included.
Single cars or the six-car assortment?
Choose individual models when you want only one manufacturer, one body code or a particular color. A six-car purchase can make sense when you want all six subjects and the delivered contents are confirmed; count how many you actually want before comparing its total cost with chosen singles.
The current 235110SET gallery has a concrete mismatch: the package montage repeats the F-labelled Civic, while the loose-car photograph shows six different cars, including the pearl-white R35. The listing’s current text does not settle that difference or promise a chase substitution. Before ordering that set, ask us to confirm the six 235110SET references and their packaging. Send the item number and the models you expect.
Compare current prices and the exact contents before deciding. Our sets-versus-singles guide explains how to make that comparison without assuming every assortment is automatically the better value.
Packaging and construction checks
The current 370Z 235110A, Skyline 235110B and Civic 235110F listings specify rubber tires, diecast metal bodies and chassis, and G-Blister packaging with stackable showcases and easy-release screws. The shorter current descriptions for the two R35s and Integra do not establish that whole feature list. Confirm it for those references if construction or the showcase is part of your buying decision.
For a boxed display, measure the package or showcase rather than using the loose car’s length. For a mixed-brand row, compare the actual proportions and presentation; our GreenLight vs. Hot Wheels Premium guide offers a release-level approach.
Questions about Tokyo Torque Series 10
Is every Tokyo Torque release 1:64?
No. This comparison concerns six 1:64 Series 10 references. GreenLight’s regional catalog also lists 1:43 Tokyo Torque models. Match the scale and item number when extending your display beyond this group.
Does “Limited Edition” on the card guarantee a chase?
No. The current offers discussed here do not promise a Green Machine, Raw Machine or other chase substitution. That packaging phrase does not identify which variant will be supplied; choose the described release and ask about any substitution terms before paying.
Can I compare the cars’ physical sizes from these photos?
The photos help compare body shape, color and wheels, but they are not a common measurement scale. Cropping and framing differ. Use the actual model’s length, width and height for a fitted case, and measure its packaging separately if you will display it sealed.
