Legion Fw 190A Releases LA–LD: Choosing the Markings You Want
Choose among Legion's four Fw 190A offers by the depicted markings, then confirm the final letters of the item number. LA, LB, LC and LD are separate releases in the same listed 1:72 format. They are not four models supplied together, and their suffixes are not aircraft subtype designations.
The current descriptions list a stand, diecast metal with plastic components and no opening panels for each. With those shared specifications, the visible finish is the most useful starting point.

LEG-14620LA: the Gath-labeled release
The LA product is listed with the Wilhelm Gath association. Its photograph shows a yellow rudder, gray-and-green camouflage and dark outlined fuselage markings.
Choose this offer when that depicted aircraft is your target. Keep the model code alongside the historical label rather than relying on a long title that can be shortened in search results. A pilot name identifies the advertised subject, not an extra loose figure.
LEG-14620LB: Black 13
The Black 13 release has the large outlined 13 on its fuselage, a yellow rudder and a dark contrasting nose-area pattern. A side or rear three-quarter view makes the number easy to see.
It is the direct choice when your wish list says LEG-14620LB. A Black 13 from another manufacturer or in another scale is not necessarily the same collectible. The painted number alone does not establish an exact aircraft history.
LEG-14620LC: the Hahn-labeled release
The LC model is the offer labeled Hans Hahn. Its image shows white chevron-style markings, a yellow rudder and a small illustrated nose emblem.
This is visibly different from Black 13 even though the overall camouflage palette is similar. Compare the fuselage markings instead of identifying either model by its yellow tail alone.
LEG-14620LD: Yellow 17
The LD photograph shows a yellow 17, pale rear-fuselage band and dark nose. These visual checks identify the intended finish without treating a product-code suffix as a military-unit designation.
For a unit-specific historical project, compare the manufacturer release and an appropriate historical reference. A painted number or general camouflage pattern by itself is not sufficient evidence of a particular pilot, place or date.
One finish or a collection of variations?
The current descriptions give approximate lengths of 4.75 inches and wingspans of 5.75 inches for these models. Those are supplier estimates, not measured tolerances for a display case. The complete stand arrangement requires a separate height and base check.
Buy one when the markings are your main interest. Buy several when comparing factory finishes is intentional, with space around each aircraft. Match each code against the models you already own so a variation purchase does not become an accidental repeat.
