Choose Legion when one of its Fw 190A finishes is the aircraft you want; compare JC Wings when an explicitly named A-4 or A-8 is important. The current offers confirm stands for both brands. They do not establish a universal difference in operating features or a brand-wide quality ranking.

Compare the individual release rather than assuming the more expensive model has better paint, more accurate tooling or additional accessories.

Legion: a choice of four marking schemes

The range includes LEG-14620LA, Black 13, LEG-14620LB, LEG-14620LC and Yellow 17, LEG-14620LD. Each is a separately sold 1:72 Fw 190A.

The current descriptions list stands, diecast metal with plastic components and no opening panels. Their approximate listed length is 4.75 inches and wingspan 5.75 inches.

The general A designation should not be silently expanded into a specific A-4 or A-8 claim. Choose Legion for the depicted release you have identified, not a presumed subtype borrowed from another listing.

JC Wings: choose the named subtype

The JC Wings A-4 and A-8 explicitly identify their variants. Both are 1:72 finished models with stands and metal-and-plastic construction listed.

The A-4 is approximately 5 inches long with a 5.5-inch span; the A-8 is approximately 4.75 inches long with a 5.75-inch span. These catalog estimates are not a measured accuracy comparison.

For a collection organized by aircraft subtype, that explicit designation can be more useful than a preferred paint color on a broadly labeled model.

Separate photographed details from guaranteed accessories

Seated cockpit figures are visible in some Legion and JC Wings photographs. Those images show the advertised presentation, not a promise of additional loose figures or removable cockpit parts.
