2016 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Collector Guide

The AMG GT3’s long hood and large rear wing are easy to recognize, but the wheels deserve a second look. The gray debut has J5 and PR5 variants, and the light-blue Race Day car has PR5 and DD8 combinations. Those differences remain useful even when the paint and toy code match.

What to look for

Premium releases add metal chassis and Real Riders, while the Hot Wheels id and Neon Speeders versions follow different construction paths. The silver Team Transport car has IWC graphics and a watch design on its roof; its transporter is a separate part of the set.

Inspect the front splitter, wing ends and narrow supports. Ask for an overhead view when roof graphics are part of the identification.
