2001 BMW M3 GTR Collector Guide
The white number-3 car and the silver Boulevard M3 GTR take very different approaches to the same broad-shouldered BMW. One wears red and blue race graphics; the other leaves the wheel arches, hood vents and rear wing in plain view. Compare the two releases here before choosing a loose car or a sealed package.

Race colors or a plain silver finish
The 2025 Car Culture two-pack pairs the 2001 BMW M3 GTR with a BMW 320 Group 5. In the package photograph, the M3 is the car on the right, with number 3 on its door. The 2026 Boulevard release is number 142 and comes on its own card. Its silver paint and black wheels are a useful contrast to the decorated two-pack car. The model year in the casting name is 2001; it is not the release year of either Hot Wheels edition.

Choosing one for your collection
Start with the rear wing and the edges of the wide fenders. They are easy places for a loose car to pick up rubs. A low rear view can show the wing and its supports more clearly than a side photograph. Check the front splitter too, especially when the car has been stored nose-to-tail with other models.
If you want a complete two-pack, confirm that both cars and the original package are included. A loose M3 is still identifiable by its decoration, but it is only one half of JBK99. For the silver car, use the Boulevard number and the actual miniature together rather than relying on a listing headed simply “BMW M3.”
