MUNCLE MIKES COLLECTOR GUIDE
Batplane Collector Guide
The Batplane is best compared from above. Its broad swept wings create the familiar bat outline, while the canopy and thin printed lines supply most of the differences between releases. Plain black, silver, neon blue, neon red and camouflage finishes all change its mood without changing that silhouette.

What to look for
The black 2020 debut has blue glazing and no graphics. The 2021 black release adds red neon lines, repeated for the 2023 card. The 2026 five-pack returns to an undecorated black body but uses red glazing. Keep those canopy colors in view when sorting loose examples.

Choosing one for your collection
Check both wing tips and the narrow central projections. They are easier to assess in a straight overhead photo than in a side-on blister shot.
For the repeated black-and-red decoration, packaging is the useful release evidence. A loose Batplane does not by itself establish which Batman card it came from.
Collector questions
Are all black Batplanes the same edition?
No. Compare canopy color and printed decoration. The plain blue-canopy debut, red-striped releases and plain red-canopy five-pack version are different combinations.
