Hot Wheels Collector Report FAQ

Why does a report show no value?

Value is withheld when verified completed sales have not been matched to the exact release, packaging, and condition.

What is record completeness?

It measures catalog identity, documentation, and media coverage. It is not evidence confidence, rarity, or price.

Does rarity mean value?

No. Rarity, demand, condition, authenticity, and verified sales are different factors.

Are asking prices comparable sales?

No. Active listings can provide context, but only completed sales show what a buyer paid.

Can a reconstruction prove a variation?

No. A reconstruction is disclosed and is not official manufacturer or physical production evidence.

How is the portfolio stored?

Local records are stored in the browser. An optional recovery-key backup encrypts records in the browser before upload; the recovery key is required to restore them.
