Physical Details

Inspect the stripe edges, silver paint and wheel rims for rub; the tinted windows can make the interior appear nearly black from above.

Casting History
The ’16 Camaro SS entered the Hot Wheels line in 2016. The 2017 Camaro Fifty series revisited the casting with DTY96 in metalflake silver and DVC45 in flat white. Later versions moved through 50th Anniversary, HW Speed Graphics and Halloween themes.
The 2021 GRR19 and 2023 HLJ88 are visually similar loose because both use purple paint and skull graphics. Their toy numbers and card series establish which release is in hand.
Value Research
Compare DTY96 with completed sales for that toy number and condition. Keep loose cars separate from carded examples, and include card and blister condition when comparing sealed releases. Check the silver finish, stripe edges and wheel rims; avoid comparing another ’16 Camaro SS release or an asking price as a matched sale.
