Oxblood gives the E-Type a warmer look than the earlier green car. This is JCP68, the 2025 RLC release, with a brown interior and silver ten-spoke wheels. The rear plate reads BLDYGUD.

What to look for
The opening front cowl reveals the engine, and lightly smoked windows soften the view into the cabin. Mattel supplied this edition in an acrylic display case with an outer slipcover.

Choosing one for your collection
If you collect boxed RLC cars, ask whether the acrylic case and slipcover are included. A photo of the car alone does not establish that the full presentation packaging comes with it.
Study the cowl edges for chips and check that the silver wheel faces are clean. Dark red paint can look nearly black in shadow, so use the toy code and interior as supporting identifiers.
Collector questions
Is oxblood the same finish as the green release?
Both are Spectraflame finishes, but JCP68 has its own oxblood color, brown cabin and ten-spoke wheel combination. It is a separate release, not a lighting effect on HGK82.
