Research notes
Mattel’s 2003 Hot Wheels list names B1654 in the Hot Tunerz assortment. Collector references document the Signal Yellow finish, its graphics and its original wheel style. Retail and collector records sometimes group this assortment across 2003–2004, so the catalog year is not presented as a production-date code.
