A complete beginner model-rocket starter set with supplies for four launches. Estes Mini Mod #0643 combines one configurable snap-together rocket, a Porta-Pad II launch pad, an Electron Beam launch controller, four A3-4T engines, starters, plugs and recovery wadding in one package.

Motor compatibility

The included A3-4T engines support the first four compatible flights. Estes also lists 1/2A3-2T, A3-4T, A3-6T and A10-3T for the Mini Mod. Use only a complete motor designation shown in the exact current instructions; motor letter alone does not establish compatibility.

Launch planning

The Mini Mod uses streamer recovery and is manufacturer-rated for flights up to 600 feet under appropriate conditions. Follow the current rocket and motor instructions, the current NAR Model Rocket Safety Code, local requirements, field-size guidance and weather limits before every flight.
