The best Hot Wheels Monster Truck track depends on the game you want: choose Dual Terrain Raceway JMW70 for racing, Crocodile Crash Challenge JJN45 for a repeatable jump, or Loop-and-Flip Trophy Challenge JBX64 for landing stunts and scoring. All three are purpose-built Monster Trucks sets with Mattel's age guidance of 4 years and up.
Start with the truck you own. Big wheels, a tall body and a wide stance change how a vehicle fits a launcher, loop or bridge. A track designed for ordinary Hot Wheels cars does not automatically work with Monster Trucks, even when both vehicles are described as 1:64 scale.

Best for racing: Dual Terrain Raceway JMW70
Dual Terrain Raceway is the clearest choice when the attraction is seeing two trucks race together. Its four-foot track can be turned over to switch between smooth and rough terrain. The supplied crushed cars attach as obstacles, and a trophy at the finish identifies the winner.
This creates several games from the same set: race without obstacles, add the obstacles, then try the other surface. For a useful comparison, keep the release consistent and exchange the trucks' starting positions. Otherwise, a different start can look like a difference between the trucks.
Mattel also describes racing up to four ordinary Hot Wheels cars on this set. That is a feature of JMW70; it is not permission to run Monster Trucks through every car track in your collection. Speed Snap track can extend the route, with additional track sold separately.
Choose this set if racing with another person matters more than hitting a single target. Measure your floor space first: the four-foot track needs room for the players, the starting area and vehicle retrieval as well.
Best for a launch-and-reset challenge: Crocodile Crash JJN45
Crocodile Crash gives one truck a defined task. Slam-launch the included 1:64 Mega-Wrex up the ramp, clear the crocodile and reach the seesaw bridge. A successful crossing defeats the crocodile; a weaker attempt can roll the truck back into its jaws.
That makes it a good fit for someone who enjoys trying the same stunt again and improving the launch. It offers a visible success or failure without needing a second player or a lap counter. The useful comparison is between attempts, rather than between two racing lanes.
The exit accepts Speed Snap track. Start with the supplied layout before adding more track, so you can see where the truck travels and how much space the finish needs. An extension changes the route after the stunt; it does not establish compatibility with every other launcher or booster.
Check the name and code carefully when shopping. Crocodile Crash Challenge is JJN45 and includes Mega-Wrex. Similar creature-themed sets can look close in a small photo while containing a different truck and mechanism.
Best for target games: Loop-and-Flip Trophy Challenge JBX64
This set makes the landing the main event. In one arrangement, the included 1:64 Bigfoot travels through a full loop before heading toward a trophy cup. Reverse the loop arrangement to make the truck perform a backflip into a cup instead.
The cups have different sizes and point values, giving the game a useful choice between an easier landing and a harder target. Players can compete to land in every cup or agree on a number of attempts and total their scores.
Mattel lists JBX64 as requiring no batteries. Its included Bigfoot has decoration commemorating Bigfoot's 50th anniversary. Match that code when buying a complete set; other Bigfoot vehicles and other loop sets are separate offers.
Choose it when aiming, adjusting a launch and scoring appeal more than a straight race. Leave room around the cups for missed landings, and follow the supplied setup rather than moving a target into an improvised elevated position.
Will your existing Monster Trucks fit?

Check connections, space and the complete package
Connection compatibility and vehicle compatibility are separate questions. Speed Snap can help you join the stated track pieces, but the vehicle still needs a clear route through every section. Check any adapters needed for older track, and do not force connectors that do not match.
