The important identifiers are 98261 for the Tumbler and 30916 for the Animated Series Batmobile. Neither should be described as the other simply because the title says Batman or the paint looks dark in a photograph.

Those dimensions come from the individual product listings and are approximate. They explain why “1:24” is not enough to select a display case: the Animated Series example is listed as longer, while the Tumbler is listed as wider and taller.

Why choose the Tumbler?

The Dark Knight Tumbler set, 98261, suits a display built around that Batman film design. Its body and wheel arrangement give it a very different presence from a long, low Batmobile.

The listing identifies an opening boarding hatch, rubber tires and diecast construction with plastic components. Choose it for those verified characteristics rather than assuming it has ordinary side-opening doors. A boarding hatch and a car door are not the same display feature.

The included Batman figure is listed at approximately 2.75 inches tall. Leave a separate standing area for it; the vehicle’s quoted dimensions do not include a figure positioned beside the model. The listing does not establish that the figure fits inside the vehicle.

Why choose the Animated Series Batmobile?

The Animated Series set, 30916, is the choice when that version of Batman is the reason for collecting. The product description identifies an opening hood, rubber tires, cabin and exterior detailing, and a separate diecast Batman figure.

Its approximately 9.5-inch listed length calls for more horizontal room than the Tumbler’s 8-inch length, even though both are labeled 1:24. The lower body can create a different display arrangement, particularly on a shelf with limited vertical clearance.

The current listing does not give the companion figure’s height. Do not borrow the Tumbler figure’s 2.75-inch measurement or assume the same sculpt is included. Review the actual set photograph when the figure design matters to you.

One Batmobile or both?

Buy one when the collection is centered on a favorite film or animated series. Buy both when comparing Batman vehicle designs is the goal. A two-model display can show the contrast more clearly than collecting nearly identical colors of one version.

These are two separate products, not a combined two-Batmobile offer. Check their current prices individually and plan room for two cars plus both included figures. A shelf that accommodates either model alone may not accommodate the pair comfortably.

For a proportional scene, keep nearby vehicles in a compatible scale. For a franchise-focused shelf, different scales can be intentional, but separate the smaller miniatures rather than presenting them as a realistic street scene.

What not to assume from the Batman name

Do not assume every Jada Batmobile includes armor, lights, a rotating weapon, an opening canopy or the same Batman figure. Those features belong to particular releases and must be named in the product details. Neither of the two offers here should inherit features from an unrelated Batmobile sold elsewhere.

For an open display, reserve space for the included figure and the opening feature. The product listings note that packaging artwork may vary; the item number identifies the offered set.

Choose 98261 for a Dark Knight collection and 30916 for an Animated Series collection. When neither version has a personal advantage, decide whether you prefer the Tumbler’s taller shape or the Animated Series model’s longer footprint.
