Jada DeLorean Time Machines: Original, Part II, Part III and Anniversary Compared

Start with your favorite Back to the Future film, then choose the size. Jada’s individual 1:24 Time Machines offer lights and opening doors, while the Nano set puts all three films into a much smaller display. The Part II 1:24 release also has the folding wheels that distinguish its flying configuration.

The 40th Anniversary edition adds special packaging to the choice. Its Doc Brown van-shaped presentation is a box, rather than a second diecast vehicle.

Original-film model 32911: start with one recognizable subject

The 32911 Time Machine represents the original film, with a brushed-metal finish, lights, opening doors and rubber tires. It combines diecast and plastic parts and measures approximately 8 × 3.75 × 2.75 inches in the listing.

Choose it for a first-film shelf or a loose display of that Time Machine. If you want the doors raised, allow room above the car when choosing a cover; the quoted height alone will not settle that fit.

Part II model 31468: buy it for the folding-wheel configuration

The Part II DeLorean lists folding wheels, lights and opening doors. Its approximate dimensions are 8.25 × 3.75 × 2.75 inches.

The folding wheels let you show the car in its flying configuration. This is a display feature, with no actual flight, hovering or remote-control operation claimed. A stand is not listed among the included pieces.

Keep item 31468 with that feature in your notes. Folding wheels are not specified for the original-film and Part III models compared here.

Part III model 32166: match the particular third-film release

The 32166 Part III Time Machine has lights, opening doors and rubber tires, with approximate listed dimensions of 8.25 × 3.75 × 2.75 inches.

It supplies the third-film subject if you are putting together a trilogy of separate 1:24 purchases. Check its gallery for the exact wheel and equipment arrangement you want; the Part III title alone does not identify every configuration seen in the film.

40th Anniversary model 36849: the truck-shaped box is the distinction

The anniversary release pairs a light-up original-film DeLorean with special packaging and a ramp. The truck-shaped box is the presentation, not another toy vehicle inside the offer.

That box may be the appeal if you display the packaging. If you collect loose cars, compare the model details and current price with 32911 first. A tooling difference between these releases has not been established here.

Nano 31583: all three films without three large models

The Nano three-car set includes an original-film Time Machine, a Part II flying configuration and a Part III version. Each is approximately 1.625 inches long.

Choose the Nano trio for a small trilogy display. Lights, opening doors and folding mechanisms are not promised in that listing; the larger individual cars are the choices to compare for those features.
