Dom’s Jada Dodge Charger: 2009, Fast X and Raw-Metal Versions Compared

Choose Dom’s Jada Charger by the item number, film association and scale. A black Charger photograph alone can leave you comparing the wrong releases. The matte-black 2009-associated car, black Fast X car and smaller raw-metal version have different identities.
This guide compares 35729, 34918 and 97350. Start with the version you want to display, then check its finish, opening parts and dimensions.
Three Charger versions to compare
| Item and film association | Scale and finish | Listed opening parts |
|---|---|---|
| 35729 · Fast & Furious (2009) | 1:24 matte-black 1970 Charger R/T | Hood, doors and trunk |
| 34918 · Fast X | 1:24 black 1970 Charger R/T | Hood, doors and trunk |
| 97350 · Furious 7 | 1:32 raw-metal Charger R/T | Doors |
All three listings describe complete diecast cars with plastic components and rubber tires. “Raw metal” names a finish on the smaller model; it is not a stripped DIY body that needs assembly.
35729: matte black and the 2009 film association
The matte-black Charger R/T, 35729, identifies Fast & Furious (2009) and an exposed-engine treatment in its listing. Compare that edition when the matte appearance or film connection is what you want.
Its approximate listed dimensions are 8.5 inches long, 3.25 inches wide and 2.25 inches high. Leave more clearance if you want the doors, hood or trunk open. The closed car’s dimensions do not tell you the space needed for an open-panel display.
34918: the black Fast X release
The Fast X Charger, 34918, also lists approximate dimensions of 8.5 inches long, 3.25 inches wide and 2.25 inches high. Its photographs show the car, cabin and engine, giving you details to compare with the edition already in your collection.
Matching listed dimensions and opening parts do not establish that two releases have identical paint, tooling or packaging. Choose this car by its Fast X identity and the photographed appearance. If it is a gift, check the recipient’s existing item number; “a black Charger” is too broad to rule out a duplicate.
97350: a smaller raw-metal option
The 1:32 raw-metal Charger, 97350, is listed at approximately 5 inches long. It offers a smaller display footprint and an unpainted-looking finish for someone who wants that version.
The description lists opening doors. Do not assume it shares the opening hood and trunk of the 1:24 models. Read the exact feature list for the scale you choose, and check the full package size if the car will stay boxed.
Keep the Challenger and modern Charger separate
The black Challenger SRT8, 97384, is a different Dodge vehicle. Dom’s name and a black finish do not make it a substitute for a requested classic Charger.
The gray 2021 Charger SRT Hellcat, 34473, is another subject associated with Fast X. It is a modern Charger body style, rather than the 1970 car in another color. Match the model year along with the film wording.
Choose the edition that belongs in your collection
Pick the vehicle first, then the scale and film version. Compare the current product price for that exact item and allow enough display space for the way you intend to show it.
