Iron 883: choose a specific Sportster subject
The 2014 Sportster Iron 883 is the choice to examine when that model is the reason for your collection. Its description lists rolling and steerable wheels, rubber tires and metal construction with plastic components.
It can make a more personal gift than a mixed assortment for someone who specifically likes an Iron 883. Check the represented year before assuming it matches another Sportster release. The Series 43 set, for example, lists a 2022 Iron 883 rather than this 2014 single.
Pan America: choose an adventure-bike display
The orange-and-black Pan America 1250 offers a different motorcycle shape and a 2021 designation. Its current listing identifies this version and its 1:12 scale but does not give measurements or an opening-parts list. Ask for dimensions and confirmation of any working feature that matters to your display.
Do not confuse this model with the matte-black 2023 Pan America 1250 Special in Series 44. Year, finish, variant name and scale all change. The 1:12 single is the direct choice when you want this particular orange-and-black version rather than six assorted bikes.
Tri Glide: width matters as much as length
The dark-red Tri Glide is shown inside its 1:12 box. Plan separately for the model’s footprint and for the packaging if you intend to keep it on display.
The dark-red CVO Tri Glide is listed at 4.5 inches wide. It is not a conventional two-wheel motorcycle with another paint option. If you have a narrow motorcycle cabinet, check the available width before ordering.
The description lists no opening panels. Decorative luggage or body compartments should not be treated as working storage unless the specific product information says so.
Series 44: six bikes for a broader Harley collection
The Series 44 set includes a 1966 Electra Glide, 1984 Softail, 2006 Dyna Street Bob, 2022 CVO Road Glide, 2023 Heritage Classic and 2023 Pan America 1250 Special in their listed finishes. It is a defined six-model offer, not a random single.

Matching scale to a garage scene
For the same full-size subject, an exact 1:12 model would be 1.5 times the length of a 1:18 model. That is a scale calculation, not a measurement of these different bikes. Keep scales consistent for a proportional scene, or deliberately separate a large centerpiece from a smaller collection row.

Check the shelf before choosing the format
- Record the subject and year. A 2014 Iron 883 single and a 2022 Iron 883 in another series are different choices even when both suit a Sportster collection.
- Measure usable space. Note the shelf’s clear width, depth and height. Compare these with the model’s dimensions, and ask for any missing measurement before buying for a tight cabinet.
- Lay out the whole purchase. Mark one footprint for a single or six separate positions for Series 44. Leave space to see and lift each motorcycle without catching mirrors, handlebars or windscreens.
- Decide whether the boxes stay. A model’s dimensions do not describe its packaging. If the six boxes will be displayed, request their dimensions and plan around those instead.
Questions about Harley-Davidson scale and quantity
Does Series 44 mean one randomly selected motorcycle?
The current 31360-44 offer is a defined six-model set. Its photograph shows six individually boxed motorcycles. Confirm that the listing you choose is the complete six-bike offer, because a picture of one Series 44 motorcycle does not establish the quantity sold.
Can I buy a cabinet using only the scale printed on the box?
Scale is a useful starting point, but different full-size motorcycles have different proportions. The listed 4.5-inch width of the Tri Glide is already wider than the Iron 883’s listed 2.75 inches. Obtain the Pan America’s actual measurements if the space is tight, and allow handling clearance around every model.
Do the three 1:12 listings promise the same moving parts?
They do not provide the same detail. The Iron 883 listing identifies rolling and steerable wheels; the Tri Glide listing says it has no opening panels. The current Pan America description does not establish those features. A missing feature statement is a reason to ask about that reference, rather than evidence that the part either moves or is fixed.
