Tamiya Le Mans Kits: Nissan R390 GT1, Toyota GT-One or TS050 Hybrid?
Tamiya's Nissan R390 GT1, Toyota GT-One TS020 and Toyota TS050 Hybrid kits represent different Le Mans subjects at 1:24. Choose the car and represented year rather than treating them as interchangeable prototype builds.
R390 and GT-One: different 1990s cars
24192 identifies the 1997 Nissan R390 GT1 with exterior and engine-bay components. 24222 identifies the 1999 Toyota GT-One TS020 with a removable rear cowl and detailed twin-turbo V8 representation. The explicitly removable Toyota cowl is a useful feature when engine display is the goal.
The Nissan record does not independently confirm the same cowl mechanism. Use the exact package instructions to establish how its engine work is accessed after assembly. A photograph of a car without bodywork is not by itself an instruction to remove a glued panel.
TS050: a later aerodynamic subject
24349 identifies the 2018 Toyota Gazoo Racing TS050 Hybrid and its updated aerodynamic configuration. It is a different named Toyota project, not a newer marking sheet for the GT-One.
Pick a historical row if the different cars and years are the point, or one favorite racer for a focused build. Confirm exact decals and option contents before cutting sheets. These are assembly projects; a finished gallery example does not establish prepainted delivery, tested build time or compatibility between kits. Plan paints and adhesives from the selected instructions.
