Compare the casting, wheel measurements and package contents before starting your next build.
Build your own custom Hot Wheels with casting-specific DIY projects for painting, detailing and assembly. Each listing identifies the exact casting and shows the project components included with that kit.
- Project: Choose the named casting and check the listing photos for the body, chassis and supplied components.
- Separate upgrades: Custom wheels, rubber tires and upgrade axles are sold separately; they are not automatically included in a DIY kit.
- Before assembly: Compare front/rear wheel diameter, tire width, usable axle length and body clearance, then dry-fit the parts.
Shipping: Qualifying U.S. orders of $100 or more receive automatic free shipping. Eligibility, delivery options and the final shipping total appear at checkout. See shipping and packing details.
Choose the right DIY Hot Wheels kit
Start with the casting you want to build, then compare the listing photos, body shape, chassis, wheel openings and included parts. Contents vary by product, so confirm the exact components on the individual listing before ordering.
Wheels and rubber tires are sold separately
DIY kits do not automatically include custom wheels, rubber tires or upgrade axles. Shop Hot Wheels and Matchbox wheels and tires separately and match wheel diameter, tire clearance and axle fit to the selected casting.
