Casting history and naming
The 2010 New Models introduction included blue, silver, and yellow. Contrasting stripes are part of the release identity, but cannot distinguish every Shelby tool. Start with nose, hood, body outline, and base name before assigning a year or assortment.
The Toy Fair reference uses a blue special finish, white striping, and presentation packaging. The 2015 ZAMAC edition combines a metal-colored body with K&N-themed graphics and number 32. These examples show how decoration and packaging change the collecting context of one recognizable casting.

Condition checks before buying or cataloging
Look at the front splitter, grille corners, and raised hood edges. A chip in a striped area can be difficult to distinguish from the printed design in an overexposed image. Photograph roof and trunk stripes with reflections moved away from the centerline.
Inspect the Toy Fair case for cracks, scuffs, and damaged labeling. Do not assume a loose blue GT500 originally came with that presentation. On the ZAMAC car, record oxidation, scratches, and graphic wear before considering any cleaning or polishing.
Comparing value
Toy Fair and ordinary retail editions need separate comparison groups. Original presentation materials matter for a packaged Toy Fair example; match the 2015 ZAMAC by its race decoration. Do not substitute another Shelby casting’s sales because its name is similar.
