The gray R0936 debuted in 2010 New Models. The carded example below shows 19/44 and 019/240. The 2009 in the casting name refers to the concept car, not this Hot Wheels release year.

Reading the 2010 card numbers
The debut checklist uses two sets of numbers: New Models lists 019/240 and 19/44, while HW Premiere lists 021/214 and 21/52. A different card number does not, by itself, mean a different paint or wheel variation. Match the car first, then check the series name and both numbers on the actual card.
The carded examples below show the gray New Models car and pale-blue HW Premiere car. The yellow gallery reference is still loose, so its original package cannot be established from that photo. A card example illustrates that package; it does not prove where another loose car came from.

Choosing one for your collection
Check the sharp nose, rear corners and roof edges for chips. The small hood emblem and silver headlight printing are easier to judge in a close, well-lit photo.
The loose and carded photos show separate examples. When buying, check the seller’s own photos of both sides and the base; the condition of a reference car says nothing about the one being offered.

Why do some references say 2009?
The casting represents the 2009 concept car. The debut Hot Wheels assortment is 2010 New Models; the model year and the release year describe different things.
