Choosing one for your collection

Ask for a front three-quarter view in soft light when checking the grille finish. A bright reflection can make flat black look shiny, while a dark exposure can hide gloss. Check the blue stripes over the hood vents and the thin GT500 printing along the lower sides separately for wear.

The pictured flat-finish reference shows the car loose. A package marked L9915 identifies the release but does not, by itself, settle which grille finish is inside. Compare the front details of the actual car.

Collector questions

Is the gloss-grille white Shelby a different casting?

No. It is a documented front-detail variation of the same white 2008 L9915 release. The body, blue stripes and Y5 wheel design remain the same; the grille and headlight finish is the distinction.
