Shelby GT-500 — 2010 Dark Green OH5

Gold stripes across the hood and front fenders set off the dark-green paint. Look at the wheel faces before calling this the Faster Than Ever car: this multipack version has bright open five-spoke OH5 wheels, rather than the gold-toned FTE finish.

Look beyond the rally stripes

The green X6999 was a 2010 multipack exclusive. It shares its color scheme with the green R7563 Faster Than Ever release, but the catalog separates the OH5 wheels and ordinary axles from the FTE wheel-and-axle setup. Both have clear windows, a black cabin and a black plastic base.

Choosing one for your collection

Compare the wheels in neutral light. Warm indoor lighting can make bright metal look gold, so do not settle the OH5-versus-FTE question from a yellow cast in one photograph. Check the fine gold lower-body stripes and the small Cobra graphic behind the front wheel as well.

The photograph shows a loose example. It confirms the pictured paint, decoration and wheel configuration, but does not show the original multipack or the underside. Match the actual car in a sale listing before using this reference to judge it.

Collector questions

Are green X6999 and green R7563 the same release?

No. They share the dark-green and gold decoration, but X6999 identifies the multipack OH5 version here. R7563 is the Faster Than Ever release, with its different wheel finish and nickel-plated axle specification.
