Check the white stripes across the hood vents, roof and rear spoiler. For a grille-finish comparison, ask for a close front view under even light; reflected light can make a dark painted area appear glossier than it is.

The regular red debut has a black interior. A separate red multipack variation has blue seats; compare the cabin before focusing on the subtler grille finish. Neither ordinary red release establishes a Toy Fair presentation, which needs its own event markings.

Collector questions

Are all red 2008 Shelbys identical?

The catalog distinguishes flat and glossy black front details. This guide uses the photograph filed under the flat-black version; a separate close view is needed when buying specifically for that difference.
