Shelby GT-500 Red Blue-Interior Multipack

Look through the side window before calling this the regular red debut. This Shelby has a blue cabin beneath its red body and white stripes. The Y5 wheels and low GT500 side lettering look familiar, which makes the interior the useful detail when sorting loose examples.

Look beyond the rally stripes

The current collector catalog lists the blue-interior red car as a 2008 multipack variation. An older newsletter list places it under a 2007 ten-pack entry. Those dates disagree, so 2008 is used here as the catalog year, not a confirmed first-sale date. The reference photographs show the loose car without its original pack.

Choosing one for your collection

Ask for a well-lit side-window view that shows the seat backs. Blue reflections on dark plastic can be misleading, so compare both sides. The underside is worth checking too: look for disturbed rivets or a separated body and base before treating an interior swap as an original variation.

The additional views show the front, rear, opposite side and underside of the same reference car. The base is marked Malaysia, and blue plastic is visible beside the wheels. They provide useful comparison points but do not show an original multipack or settle the catalog-year disagreement.

Collector questions

Is the blue-interior car the same as the red gloss-grille variant?

The blue cabin is the documented distinction for this entry. A grille-finish label alone does not establish the interior color or original multipack. Compare the cabin, front details and underside separately.
