Shelby GT-500 — 2019 Metalflake Purple Multipack

Yellow stripes and yellow wheel rims give the purple 2019 Shelby its own color scheme. The body still carries a large 5 and Goodyear lettering, but the clear windows and gray cabin differ from the green and blue companions.

Look beyond the rally stripes

This metalflake-purple X6999 is the third color in the documented 2019 multipack group. It uses black OH5 wheels with yellow rims, a gray interior and a black plastic base. The open five-spoke design is a useful clue when a photograph makes the purple paint look blue.

Choosing one for your collection

Check the yellow rim edges and the thin yellow side stripe. Both can lose small sections of printing without obvious damage to the purple paint. A clear side-window view helps confirm the gray interior.

The reference shows one loose purple car. Ask for the seller's own wheel, cabin and body photos when checking another example; the original pack is not pictured here.

The 2019 car has a 5 door graphic and yellow-rimmed OH5 wheels. The 2012 Code Cars release has a 28 roundel and yellow-rimmed J5 wheels.
