Choosing one for your collection

Look at the grille and headlight areas from more than one angle. Gloss should be judged under controlled light, since a single white highlight can also come from the camera flash. Then inspect the blue stripes where they cross the hood vents and the pearl finish along the front bumper.

The reference identifies this as the gloss-grille variant. It shows the front and left side clearly, but the photograph alone cannot establish how another example will reflect light. Ask for an angled close-up before paying a premium for the finish difference.

Collector questions

Can the toy number distinguish flat and gloss front details?

No. Both white versions are cataloged under L9915. Use the grille and headlight finish to tell them apart; the shared blue stripes, Y5 wheels and toy number do not resolve that detail.
