2025 Hot Wheels Casting List

Three Formula 1 liveries share #059

Oracle Red Bull Racing, Williams Racing and Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team all occupy 059/250 and Track Aces 1/5. Their listed product codes are HYW10, JBC07 and HYX78, respectively. All three appear inside the #059 checklist row; none is silently removed as a duplicate.

The Track Aces release table documents this shared numbering. This does not make every separate Formula 1 multipack or Premium release part of the numbered mainline. Shop Formula 1 models and check the brand, scale and package before ordering.

New casting is different from a recolor

The New casting filter marks 50 numbered slots represented in the 2025 new-mainline-model tracker. Examples include Mazda MX-5 Miata #001, Ford Mustang GTD #034, McLaren W1 #142 and 1983 Porsche 928S #250. A returning casting with new paint is not automatically a new casting.

Keep a debut in the mainline separate from a debut in Hot Wheels altogether. The 1975 Datsun Sunny Truck (B120) already had a Premium release before its 2025 mainline appearance; it is not labeled as a brand-new casting here.

Read both numbers on the card

For the Datsun Sunny Truck Super example, 93/250 is its annual mainline position and 6/10 is its place in HW Hot Trucks. These are different reference systems. Record the package product code separately from any markings on the base; do not copy the Super's code onto an ordinary release with the same name.

For loose cars, photograph both sides, the top and the base. Leave package-only details unconfirmed when the card is missing and you cannot establish a documented matching variation. The Hot Wheels casting guide provides a broader research starting point.

Do not delete a record just because the name repeats

The references list Mazda RX-3 #196 in Compact Kings and Mazda RX-3 #243 in Peak Pursuit. They remain separate numbered release records here. Likewise, #001 Mazda MX-5 Miata and #080 '15 Mazda MX-5 Miata should not be collapsed into a single undifferentiated Miata entry.

Compare the specific reference, casting shape and card rather than inventing a qualifier or calling every repeated name an error. Browse Mazda models for related releases; the collection is not limited to Hot Wheels or to 2025.

Buying loose Hot Wheels

Ask the photographs to answer the important condition questions: are the paint edges chipped, the windows scuffed, the wheels worn or the axles bent? Check for missing pieces, altered fasteners and undisclosed modifications. Loose does not automatically mean mint or factory-original. Use any stated rolling condition instead of assuming that a casting will perform well on a particular track.

Choose loose Hot Wheels cars for a display or collection gap, then confirm the exact release in the individual listing. The shopping collection contains different years and is not a 2025-only stock list.

Buying carded Hot Wheels

Inspect the blister for cracks, lifting or resealing and the card for creases, softened corners or label residue. Record the condition of the car separately from the packaging. Check whether the photographs show the exact item or a representative example, and verify the collector number and series before paying for a specific variation.

Browse carded Hot Wheels and Matchbox, keeping in mind that this collection includes both brands.

Choosing a DIY casting

Start with a shape you want to paint or detail, then review the actual project components. Wheel openings, chassis clearance and body condition affect your options. Test-fit parts before final assembly and confirm the tools and preparation required rather than assuming every wheel or axle fits every casting.

Shop Build Your Own Hot Wheels DIY kits. Custom wheels, rubber tires and upgrade axles are sold separately. Confirm the original included components in the individual project listing, then compare sizes and fit in the wheels and tires collection.

Choosing a finished custom

Compare the stated modifications, paint, graphics, stance and finish on the pictured car. A casting with “Custom” in its factory name is not automatically an aftermarket build, and an aftermarket wheel swap is not a factory Super Treasure Hunt. Keep the original release identity separate from later changes.

Choose finished Custom Hot Wheels for modified builds, or explore custom-painted Hot Wheels for refinished cars. Read the product page for the actual item and its current availability.
