2011 Hot Wheels Casting List

Collection links may include other years, brands, scales and custom builds. Every collection-linked casting also has a product search. Check the actual listing for the exact version, condition and availability; this checklist is not an inventory or price list.

2011 mainline checklist: #001–244

Showing all 244 entries.

How the 2011 checklist works

The year begins with 50 New Models at #001–050, then places 15 Treasure Hunt castings at #051–065 and 15 Track Stars at #066–080. Ten-car themes follow, including Street Beasts, Heat Fleet, Muscle Mania, Nightburnerz and HW Performance. Seven six-car Thrill Racers segments occupy #181–222. The 22 HW Video Game Heroes finish the numbered list at #244.

The segment fractions in the table are not product numbers. Danicar is #001 overall and 1/50 within New Models; Bone Shaker is #223 overall and 1/22 within Video Game Heroes. No extra #245–250 slots are added merely to resemble a later year. The historical video-game theme is recorded as a series identity, not a claim that any original online service still works.

New-model names can contain older vehicle years

The ’72 Ford Gran Torino Sport, ’63 Studebaker Champ and ’70 Camaro Road Race belong to the opening New Models segment. Their vehicle years do not change their place in this 2011 release reference. The ’11 Corvette Grand Sport at #032 is distinct from Corvette Grand Sport #059 in Treasure Hunts. Compare body shape, generation and decoration before merging records.

Regular Treasure Hunts and Supers share positions

In this year’s reference, each of the 15 Treasure Hunt casting positions has a regular version and a Super counterpart. The row therefore appears in both filters. That arrangement differs from years where Supers are placed among a different set of standard mainline castings. Recording the annual number without the version leaves an important part of the identification unresolved.

Custom ’62 Chevy #054

The regular reference describes a metallic-gold pickup with PR5 wheels. The Super uses a Spectraflame-gold finish and Real Rider steelie-style wheels. Their decoration overlaps, so neither a gold paint description nor a matching casting name alone settles the variant. Compare the actual item’s finish, wheels, base and packaging together. Browse Chevrolet models with the exact release in mind.

Datsun 240Z #062

Both versions use a white-and-red racing scheme and the number 24. The reference distinguishes the Super through its Spectraflame dark-red areas and Real Rider five-spoke wheels. An ordinary car with replacement rubber tires remains a modified example, not automatically the factory chase. The Datsun collection offers related shopping across releases.

The ’57 Chevy has two numbered releases

The Treasure Hunt pair at #052 is not the same release as the HW Racing entry at #160. The chase reference uses racing number 68, while the later HW Racing decoration uses number 7. Keep the series and decoration in the record instead of deleting one as a duplicate. A Super label from #052 should not be applied to a similarly named #160 car.

Similar Skylines and Camaros need precise names

The New Models segment includes Nissan Skyline H/T 2000GT-R #022 and H/T 2000GT-X #033. Nightburnerz contains Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 #115. These are separately identified entries, not interchangeable abbreviations for the same car. The Nissan collection can help locate candidates; the actual body and release details must establish the match.

At #113, the year reference records both Chevy Camaro Concept and the red 2010 Indy 500 Pace Car version. They remain under the same annual position rather than becoming an invented additional entry. The Custom ’11 Camaro at #005 and ’70 Camaro Road Race at #047 are different numbered castings. Use the Camaro collection or the individual casting search to narrow the subject.

Wheel, interior and retailer variations

Nissan 370Z #143 appears in Faster Than Ever, but the reference also records a multipack wheel variation. The same issue arises with 2010 Ford Mustang GT #144. A wheel type that differs from one photograph is not by itself proof of an error, counterfeit or aftermarket modification. Compare the documented package context and the complete car.

Ford Mustang Fastback #089 includes recorded interior and wheel differences. The black version is described with a red interior in one record and a gray interior in a multipack record. Color alone cannot uniquely identify it. For a loose car, photographs through the glazing and of the base can be as important as a side profile.

Selected Walmart editions are documented with different wheels or a Hot Wheels windshield marking. Such historical retailer notes are not claims of present availability or rarity. Avoid assigning a scarce-variation label merely because a listing title includes a retailer name; ask for the identifying feature to be visible.

Recolors and themed returns are not accidental duplicates

’68 El Camino #104 belongs to Muscle Mania; #167 belongs to HW Main Street and uses rescue-themed decoration. Different annual positions and series should remain separate. Other repeated subjects, including Fast FeLion and Ford Mustang variants, likewise require the number and series before a release can be identified.

The 50 New Models flag positions rather than every color. Honda S2000 #020 has multiple documented colors, but each remains under one new-model position. The source also records detail variations, which should be kept in a variation log rather than counted as additional new castings.

A useful collector record

Start with the full casting name, annual position and series. Add the color, decoration, wheel design, base markings, interior and original package when available. Record uncertainty rather than filling a missing code or factory detail from an adjacent row. The series fractions here are visible reference information, not substitutes for a package SKU.

When comparing value, use the exact version and condition. A carded Super, a loose regular Treasure Hunt and a restored custom are not like-for-like examples. This guide does not provide live prices or promise that an older car is rare. Its shopping links lead to current listings where the actual item’s condition and contents should be described.

Buying, condition and customization

For a loose car, compare both sides, roof, wheels and base. Check paint wear, axle alignment, cracked windows, missing components and any signs of opening or repair. For a carded car, inspect the blister, seal, corners and printed identification as well as the car inside. Keep packaging condition separate from vehicle condition when comparing listings.

A casting name containing “Custom” does not by itself mean that an individual car was modified after manufacture. Conversely, an aftermarket paint job or wheel swap does not create a factory chase. Describe restored and modified cars accurately, and compare the exact release before relying on another sale as a value reference.

Custom wheels, rubber tires and upgrade axles are sold separately. Original included components depend on the individual DIY kit listing. A casting link is not a promise that any wheel set fits it. Current carded cars, loose cars and custom cars have different collecting purposes; choose deliberately.

Sources and scope

The numbered sequence, series positions and selected variation notes follow the South Texas Diecast 2011 reference. The list ends at #244. Series fractions are shown instead of unverified package SKUs. Regular and Super versions of the 15 Treasure Hunt castings share their annual positions; this is not a claim that every example is a Super. Regional packages, multipacks, premium lines and every manufacturing variation are outside the complete scope of this checklist.
